G430 HIGH LAUNCH (HL) Hybrid
You might be swinging a club that’s too heavy, meaning you’re not generating sufficient clubhead speed and ball velocity to hit the ball as far as you’d like with consistency. Introducing the G430 HL (High Launch) build, a new full-set custom option for slower-swing-speed golfers. Custom engineered with lighter head weights, shaft and grip, the overall system is lighter so you’ll swing faster and generate more ball speed for higher-launching, longer-carrying shots across the entire set.
The G430 is loaded with new innovations like Carbonfly Wrap to give you the added ball speed, distance and green-holding stopping power you need to take on any approach. Proven technologies Facewrap and Spinsistency are also here, and a tungsten backweight to ensure forgiveness.
Carbonfly Wrap
Carbonfly Wrap, an ultra-thin lightweight composite crown, wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt. Weight savings are reallocated to lower the CG and increase ball speed and the MOI (forgiveness). The composite also plays a role in the pleasing sound.
Facewrap Technology
The thin, high-strength maraging steel face wraps into the sole and crown to increase flexing and generate faster ball speed with a higher launch for longer carries.
A variable roll radius creates less loft low on the face to improve performance (especially on thin shots) by reducing spin to increase ball speed for added distance from the maraging steel face.
Adjust Loft, Lie
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.
Trajectory Tuning Chart
The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.
A 5.5-gram backweight, PING Alta Quick shaft, and 41-gram Lamkin UTx LIte grip make up the lighter HL build so players with slower swing speeds can generate more clubhead speed to produce faster ball velocity and higher launch.
